Introduction
Welcome to Geedesk! We’re thrilled to share some fantastic news with you. You asked, and we listened. Brace yourselves for the return of a familiar functionality – VIP Description is back in action! In this blog post, we’ll walk you through the journey of its comeback, why we decided to bring it back, and how it’s going to make your Geedesk experience even better. Let’s dive in!
Reasons Behind Removing the Feature
VIP Description holds a special place in the hearts of our longtime users. It was a cornerstone of Geedesk during its early days, providing a unique and valuable functionality that fostered user engagement and satisfaction. VIP Description functionality was built to send VIP alerts to all the users to let them know the details about the VIP entering as a guest. But we found out that the customers are using it for their internal purposes. So, we removed this functionality to check who all are using it for other purposes apart from its own functionality.
Why the Return?
Your feedback matters to us, and we’ve heard your call for a VIP Description. After careful consideration and significant updates, we are excited to reintroduce this feature. Its return aligns with our commitment to enhancing your Geedesk experience, combining the best of the past with the innovations of the present.
Why the New?
We are bringing back the VIP description since this functionality is used by all the properties to know who has checked in the property as VIP. Now the new update is that we are going to use this feature within a group named as VIP alert group in which users will be mapped into it and the users who are mapped into the group will receive a VIP alert.
Looking Ahead
The return of the VIP description is just one of the many exciting developments in the Geedesk application. We’re committed to evolving with your needs and delivering an experience that connects with both longtime users and newcomers alike.
Conclusion
Thank you for being a part of Geedesk. As we reintroduce the VIP description, we invite you to rediscover the charm that made it your favorite. Thank you for being part of this journey, and we look forward to many more chapters of innovation, nostalgia, and user-centric enhancements.
